Today, July 1st is Canada Day. So in honour of this auspicious day I thought I would give you some facts about Canada.
- Canada is the second largest country in the world. It is in fact so massive it has 6 time zones!
- Today is the 144th Canada Day.
- Vancouver is 125. That’s younger than the telephone, postage stamps, bicycles, plastic, lightbulbs and toilet paper.
- On Canada Day it is a legal requirement to wear red and eat maple syrup with all meals.
